Warm pear and halloumi salad

Servings: 4

Ingredients 4 – 8 semi ripe packham pears, sliced thickly
(use 1 or 2 pears per person)
1 packet Halloumi cheese sliced thickly
4 cups mixed salad greens
2 tbsp honey
1/2 cup walnut halves, dry roasted
salt & pepper
extra virgin olive oil

Method
brush sliced pears and halloumi slices with olive oil and cook on a heated grill pan or non stick frying pan until char marks are visible or lightly coloured. Sprinkle over with honey, salt and pepper and place on bed of leaves.
Toss through with olive oil and walnut halves. Serve with grilled slices of sourdough bread toasted and brushed with olive oil.
Orange or mandarin segments make a good addition.
